Lengthy and Unclear Interview Process at Procore I recently participated in Procore’s hiring process for multiple roles, which turned out to be unexpectedly extensive and unclear. Throughout the process, I was asked to interview with over 20 different people, dedicating a total of around 20 hours. Despite the significant time investment, the feedback provided was minimal and not timely, leaving me unsure about my performance and the criteria being used for selection. The process appeared disorganized, as it seemed like the company was uncertain about the specific qualifications or type of candidate they were seeking for each role. This not only made the interviews feel redundant but also less tailored and engaging. The lack of coordination among the teams involved was evident and contributed to a frustrating experience. For future improvements, I would suggest that Procore streamline their interview process by clearly defining the roles and the specific attributes they are seeking in candidates before starting interviews. Additionally, it would be beneficial for all involved if the number of interviews were reduced and better coordinated to respect the candidates' time and effort. Clear, constructive feedback after interviews would also greatly enhance the experience and professionalism of the hiring process.

This was one of the best interview experience right from scheduling to the on-site interviews. The process started with HR phone screen followed up with 45 min phone interview with VP of Products, then ending with two on-site interviews. Onsite interview started with a tour of the facility then with 6 member of the panel consisting of , engineering manager, QA manager, Senior Engineer, PM's and ending with VP of products. The second interview was with Director of Product Experience and then again with VP of Products( hiring manger). I enjoyed great discussion with every one, it was very engaging unlike some the interviews where the interviewer was busy typing on the laptop while I spoke. They are very much interested to listen to what you have to share, it was great learning experience.
