Interview
I applied online, and after a few days with no response I stopped inside Planet Fitness to talk to a manager to introduce myself. He scheduled an interview for me a few days later. Dress up nicely because the manager really appreciated the fact that I was professionally dressed. The interview wasn't bad at all, I actually enjoyed the process. At the end they wanted me to give them a tour of Planet Fitness as if they were members. It isn't hard. As long as you are confident, you'll do great!
It took almost two weeks to get a call for an interview. I had a phone interview with the general manager. I was asked a few questions before I was schedule for an interview in person.

I was asked about my availability and customer service experience.
I received a quick 15-minute phone screening followed by meeting with the area and club managers. This all happened within about 2 weeks. I’d say the process was fairly typical to other similar positions.

Interview
I interviewed with the club's general manager and was offered by the end of the interview. The interview took place in the lobby of the club and I was given a tour of the facility. Questions were pretty straightforward and general to customer service.
