I applied in-person. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Pilot Flying J
Interview
It was new process 3 different interviews. Took maybe a hour total but was a waste of time. Never heard what was going to happen nothing about interview at all. No feed back on what y9u need to work on to get moved up or where y9u need more knowledge at nothing at all. Will never try to advance in this company ever again.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Pilot Flying J (Battle Creek, MI) in Jun 2013
Interview
Interview with a regional manager at a location near me. basic interview questions, job tenure seemed to be a huge incentive. Relocatable is a plus. interview was about 45 minutes long. Offered me a position the following day and offered a job shadow. The job shadow was very sugar coated and not day to day operations.

I interviewed at Pilot Flying J (Summerville, SC) in Jul 2010
Interview
This company has a pretty extensive interview process. I went to a open house where a met a recruiter who works in HR for Pilot. After the interview I was emailed a link to take a online test. The test took about an hour and a half. About a week after the test the rest of the interview procesed happened pretty quickly in the following order: Regional Manager, General Manager, another Regional Manager and finally the Divisional Manager who asked for a pay stub from my last employer. An offer was made within 24 hours after the last of my last interview. The whole interview process took about 30 days.
