Recruiter came to on campus career fair. About a 30 min interview asking about my graduate research and I had time to ask them a few questions. Was invited to on site interview

I met one-on-one with the recruiter for about 45 minutes. He spent about 15 minutes telling me about the company (what they do, how they fit in with their competition, where their R&D work is located). He asked me to describe my dissertation work (which was unrelated to the petrochemical industry, so I believe he wanted to see how well I could communicate my work). With a better idea of my experience and skill set, he then talked to me about a couple of places in R&D where my skills could be applied. He then gave me the rest of the time (about 15 minutes) to ask him questions. I got to ask several questions, so it was very helpful that I had prepared many of them.
