I applied through university. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Phillips 66 in Aug 2016
Interview
2 interviewers/recruiters asked many questions regarding work experience, and they want to make sure that you know enough information that relate to the applied job. also asked if you need visa/sponsorship to work in the U.S?
I applied online. I interviewed at Phillips 66 (Houston, TX)
Interview
HireVue interview that takes around 30 minutes with super simple behavior questions, then went to the career fair, and then finally interviews with Phillips 66 employees. You hear back 7-10 days after the employee interview.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Explain a time when you used data in your past job.
The interview process was pretty straightforward. My interview for an internship position involved two members of the team. They asked pretty standard interview questions. I believe I heard back within a week or two.

Question 1
What is one challenging project you’ve been involved in and how did you handle it?
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Phillips 66 (Houston, TX) in Jan 2023
Interview
Video interview (done at your leisure and recorded) as the screener, and about an hour long zoom interview. I also had a quick phone call screener with the department head at the end, though this is not the case for all positions.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Screener had very easy 'why oil and gas' 'describe a complicated project you worked on' etc. The next stage had harder questions, like how we would handle bad press (was not for a PR job), and further pressing why you wanted to work in the energy industry. Also asked some personality questions, and what type of projects we'd want to work on
