The process consisted of an HR screen, a hiring manager round, and a final 6-hour loop. The technical/STAR questions were very basic.
The experience turned unprofessional during the loops. One interviewer ignored my professional background entirely and focused on my age and personal life. He repeatedly tried to pressure me into joining his team instead of the role I was interviewing for. He later contacted me via his personal email to continue the pitch.
I was eventually rejected after 6 weeks of silence due to a "lack of seniority." Given that my experience was clearly outlined on my resume, it is disrespectful to put a candidate through nearly 9 hours of total interviewing only to reject them based on information available at the screening stage.
