I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at One Technologies (Dallas, TX) in Nov 2022
Contacted by recruiter, 30 minute initial conversation one on one, 30 min- 1 hour conversation "technical screening" with two senior developers about past experience. Happens over Zoom call on video. This was the rudest and most unprofessional interview I have done. The one doing all the talking acted with condescension and poor listening toward everything I said with a thick accent, and asked me why things were structured in the way I described at my previous position. He asked me why my team would have 3 cloud engineers and none of us handled the administration of the AWS account. I clarified that I didn't have control over it and "cloud engineer' is better defined as "cloud based software engineer". He asked about how I handled AWS Lambda logs and misheard me multiple times, looking down shaking his head like I was a spectacle. He asked why I didn't have work to do in the other AWS accounts at my company, to which I don't have an answer except as described that Dev is for Developers and Test is for QA. The two ended the interview a half hour early barely hiding their contempt.
- Have you managed an AWS system with multiple accounts?

Very standard not strange at all. They asked a lot of questions about my background which I answered to the best of my ability. Nice and smart people. Seemed to care a lot about why I wanted to join them.
- What brings you here today?

Group interview; whiteboarding. What If scenarios with competing priorities and how would you handle with limited resources. Highly interactive in a group setting. Must be comfortable talking in a group.
- What would you do if management tried adding additional work into a sprint?

There are 2 rounds. First-round is a phone interview. Simple behavior questions. The second round takes 5 hours. I interviewed 8 people, 4 group total. Some of them gave me technical questions about SQL. Overall, it's a good experience. However, the worst part is they never reply to me with the interview result. I emailed them 3 times to check, but they never answered.
- Basic SQL Why you want to join us If your teammate has different opinions, what will you do

This was a very simple process. Went about four different calls with members of the team. Questions were fairly simple and easy to answer. I would recommend this process to other employers
- Describe your current role and education

The stages of interview, director first, then 2 hour interview, with at least 6 different team members. There wasn't much of a technical interview. Everyone was pleasant, attentive and the whole process was efficient.
- how did you handle difficult coworker in the past?
- What is your biggest accomplishment to date?

I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at One Technologies (Dallas, TX) in Jan 2018
The interview process itself was very standard: some situational questions, one brainteaser question, most of the time spent discussing my previous experience. I also had to take a proficiency test for SQL and excel. I met with the corporate recruiter, then with two directors and the hiring manager. The interview was at their HQ offices and took about 2 1/2 hours. I had a few red flags- felt like I was fishing for information when I asked about the product, current revenue goals, sales performance metrics, etc. I just couldn't get anyone to be forthcoming about what they are trying to sell (details about the product, how they market, sales plans, etc.). I walked through the office during a short tour and got the sense there was very low productivity going on. At 5 pm the place was empty (again, mind you did see a lot of people on their social media profiles). Not saying that I like staying in an office until late, but just had a weird feeling about it. The experience made me realize that this place is not where anyone with career aspirations should be looking to apply. Maybe a 9 to 5 to pay the bills. Just my 2 cents.
- Be prepared to answer a brainteaser- it is mostly done so that they can understand your thought process when solving a problem.

Phone call followed by onsite interview. You get interviewed by the manager on phone, after that you get interviewed by the whole team. It is intimidating to be interviewed by that many people, but it is not that bad after all.
- SQL questions Scrum process API testing

I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at One Technologies (Dallas, TX) in Apr 2017
Initially was contacted by an external recruiter . Then after some back and forth (and about 4 hours) I was submitted. I was hesitant to go through the process with the glassdoor reviews but I was hard sold from the recruiter. I went to the office for another 2 hours and interviewed with 4 different team memebers. They were all very nice however it really seemed like they are trying to fix an issue with developers output. There was not allot of talk about innovation but they seem to have a really good process for development and seem to be moving in a good direction. Office was laid back and it would be good for someone maybe more jr.
- How would you manage a developer that was not closing tickets or whose output was subpar.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at One Technologies in Jan 2017
Interviewed with several levels of management and contributors. Everyone was super nice and open minded. I did 3 interviews in one visit after an initial interview with the recruiter. There were a lot of questions and discussions over culture. Overall an experience i would expect from a company who values their staff.
- What are examples of previous projects?
