I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Netflix (Los Gatos, CA)
Interview
The interview process drags out at Netflix. By the time I was finished I had met about 7 people. I met future colleagues, an HR VP, the department director and the department VP. They want you to meet the whole world including wasting upper management's time. It doesn't matter what level the position is.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Netflix (Los Gatos, CA) in Mar 2026
Interview
Very detailed with each interview, I had six total, focused on a specific area (leadership, partnership, culture fit, etc.). The culture memo is definitely lived, not just on paper. For leadership is was about how you handle low performers and how you work to build culture on your team.
Great interview with senior stakeholders asking questions about experience and sharing insights into the workplace culture and the job itself. Stakeholders highlight what experience they are looking for and what to expect in the first 90 days.
