I applied online. I interviewed at NC Department of Public Safety (Durham, NC) in Feb 2023
The interview was pretty easy. The panel asked 7 questions and all of them were nice. The questions were easy. I enjoyed learning about this job opportunity. I heard it could take 1-3 months to hear something back but hopefully it doesn't take that long.

Scripted, robotic and devoid of any human emotion. Every question I asked was met with silence, awkward smiles or shrugged shoulders. I would not have accepted this position If it was offered to me .

- How do you remain organized when dealing with multiple things to do

Interviewed for the same position for the same district twice. I guess they had someone else in mind the first time but brought me back the second time because I was a top choice. It was very quick compared to some the 6-9 months I was quoted for a state job. The interview process lasted 3 months from application to start date. Applied in Sep, interviewed in Oct, conditional offer in Nov, official offer and start date in Dec. Interview was a panel of 3 who took turn s asking questions. If they invite you to remove your mask, do it. I didn’t the first time, no offer. I did the second time and was hired lol. Not sure if that makes too much of a difference. Have questions ready at the end of the interview!
- Name a time where you had to explain something to someone. Name a time where you had to deal with an irate customer and how did you know they were irate? How do you deal with multitasking? What steps do you take?

The interview process was pretty straightforward and simple. I interviewed at 2 sites. At the first site, they asked ten to fifteen questions. At the second site, they handed me a piece of paper with about 6 questions and asked me to read them out loud and answer them. They weren't very difficult.
