This process was a huge waste of time. Speaking with the recruiter and hiring manager was great and felt as though we connected in the first and second round. While I had my doubts when they brought up this role was not as creative as they think I was looking for, I pushed on. The third round interview was polar opposite to the first two. The Director was very condescending and perpetuated this "boredom" concern that the first two interviewers brought up due to the fact that it was not creative marketing. Again, I applied and knew what I was applying for. The Director told me in her opening remarks that I was perhaps not what they were looking for, of course worded as if it is in my best interest. It felt like the role she was describing was not the same role as previously, and was nit-picking minor responsibilities that I may not be 100% experienced in-- these minor things were not mentioned in previous discussions. It felt as though she had her mind made up and I was there to prove her wrong.
