First stage was a video interview, quick to do. Asked questions related to cv, education, and a technical question. Following this, a Skype interview with two team members, this was an intense hour. They want to check it is ppc you are after, not just digital marketing, so make sure this comes across. The questions focused on why you want the job, they also ask questions on your ability to apply certain skills and ask how you would logistically calculate the revenue of a company so you can talk through all the considerations and show some knowledge.
This was followed by a interview at the office a week later. They gave feedback in between the interviews, which was really nice to here as often you don’t here back about how you do. The day of the interview focused on a presentation about a random company, I had to produce a ppc campaign and talk about the different considerations (they give you a criteria list, so you know what to put in the presentation), this followed with 20 minutes of questions about the presentation and 20 about myself again. I was able to ask a lot of questions about the job too.
I thought the process was quick (2 weeks) and feedback was really nice to receive as I could adjust my approach to the interview for this. I thought the company was really flexible and came across really well. They even asked what start date I would want, and if I wanted to go travelling before starting with them, which was a nice touch.
I think, as long as you do the research, have confidence and know why you want the job, you can have a considerable chance of success. This isn’t a job you can apply for on a whim, it requires a bit of input, but they do apply a lot of effect their end too.
