I applied through university. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Macy's (New York, NY) in Oct 2014
Interview
I found out about the Executive Development Program through my career fair. The recruiter was so friendly and personable and explained the whole process thoroughly. First you meet them at the career fair then you attend an info session. They then invite you to an on-campus interview. Within a week or so, I got an email saying that I was invited to New York City for an on-site interview. They pay for your flight and hotel stay, which is great.
The interview process was lengthy but very conversational. I think there were 3-5 rounds. There was also a technical interview for your specific function that you took online in a closed browser.
It was easy. Just be yourself and don’t overthink it. First was a 15 min screening call over the phone. Then a 45 min zoom call with another individual. Questions related to past experience and how you deal with certain situations.
There were 3 rounds. The first is just an hr screening. You then have to take 2 exams for the second round. After the exams there is one final round. The process was very straightforward.
