I applied online. The process took 7 weeks. I interviewed at MAERSK (Copenhagen, Capital Region) in May 2015
Interview
This position was a finance student assistant position. One or two weeks after applying, I was told to do the PLI/PI tests. I thought I had done really poorly, but to my surprise a few weeks later I was called by HR to come in for an interview.
The first thing that happened was I was required to retake the PLI test in the office.
Afterwards, there were two interviews, one was conducted by a HR representative and it had many typical HR questions about strengths, weaknesses, how I have faced difficult situations, how I react under stress. Then she talked about my results in the PLI and PI tests and she seemed pleased with them.
Then came the interview with the two hiring managers, a lot of questions followed about me, and I was unable to answer a question (What do you think you would do at this job?). Thus, my advice is to really look into the job offer and what you would be doing, even though it's not clear from the job description, try to guess what it would be about, because otherwise you won't be able to close.
At the end, you will have the chance to ask your own questions, and I asked what I would be doing at the job, since I was unable to answer, and then gave me a detailed description about it. I was not offered the job.
I applied through other source. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at MAERSK (Copenhagen, Capital Region) in Nov 2025
Interview
it is quick and easy, around 10 minutes, they ask very basic questions and explain you the role to make sure you understand what they need and if you can be a good fit

Question 1
To talk about yourself and when you are ready to start
HR rang me up and organised an interview. I had an interview with the hiring manager for the position. Hiring manager was really nice. I would apply to the company again.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at MAERSK in May 2025
Interview
First, I was interviewed by the main supervisors, and later on I was interviewed the Head manager of the department.
I found it a bit confusing, as at the beginning in the first meeting I was told that it would be just that long interview and then another one with the main manager to sign the contract.. Nevertheless the main Manager explained me that they were a Headquarter, so they have to double check everything in detail.
