We scheduled a phone interview that lasted approx. 35 minutes. He answered most of my questions and offered some insights into the position. He also mentioned negative aspects of their current and previous hires, which was slightly uncomfortable. This was especially strange as this person was the direct hiring manager for this department. Overall, the interviewer did offer enough insight to know that I was not the right fit for this position.
