5 steps process interview between meetings and tests. It takes at least a month. Wonderful people to chat to. Easy going and straight forward. It’s a long process, but everyone was super friendly during the whole process.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Lokalise (Riga) in Dec 2021
Interview
Consisted of a first "getting to know you" type interview. Both managers were great but, unfortunately, completely uninvolved with the position. The main manager for the support team was on vacation (red flag). I was given an initial test and, as the main manager was on vacation and very reluctant to offer any details/clarification/documentation I ended up reaching out to the support team. In three weeks, the main manager only responded once basically clarifying the directions for the first test which were rather vague. They passed me on to the second interview after passing the first test. After passing the second interview I was given a second, even more difficult and vague test which I managed to make headway from (main manager was STILL on vacation). When he finally did return he simply commented to all my messages "this is unacceptable" ad infinitum and disqualified my candidacy for having reached out to support. I never had a single conversation with him and the coldness of his termination of my candidacy without taking into account his essentially complete lack of involvement in seeing me through the pipeline left me with a very bad impression and I told him just as much in a rather straightforward email. Why would you ever begin the hiring process for a candidate on a team you manage when you are on vacation? Simply ridiculous.

Question 1
Essentially, how do you handle customers who are difficult/have trouble grasping your feedback and have you ever had a support situation in which you failed and how did you handle it?
