Phone call followed by 6hr interview with first hour giving presentation on my research and answering questions followed by a series of 1hr interviews with technical staff answering both technical questions and personal life/ discussions.
- What difficulty did you face in your lab and how did you solve it?

Very interested in the answers following the STAR method. Normal start, tell us about yourself. Next something you completed on time and on budget. Something that you failed on, why, and did you recover. Normal questions on data collection and analysis. Anything to add?
- How fast could I start

Got the phone interview and it was a good experience. Fairly straight forward interview and not an overbearing person to talk to. The interviewee made sure to give me a call back to ensure I knew the status on my interview. Unfortunately, I didn't go through but it was a nice sentiment.
- Tell me of one time you had to give a presentation and how you dealt with it. Tell me about yourself. Typical ones, but they threw me off with this question along the lines of: "Describe a time when you had to sacrifice quality of work in one thing for another."

Fairly average interview process. One screening call with HR, followed by a standard behavioural type interview with an engineer and an HR rep. After those, there was a final call with the team I was planning to join to ensure aligned goals which was just a casual chat.
- Tell me one time when you experienced conflict in a team and how you dealt with it

Zoom interview, Mostly getting to know you, your projects, some behavioral questions, and 2 technical questions which, if you earned a degree in electrical engineering, you should be able to fire off answers to in a few seconds.

Applied for the position and resume went under review in the same week. Received a notification for an hour phone interview two weeks later. Very simple 6 question interview, half the questions were merit based and Hypothetical questions you could only answer with past experience.
