Before the interview process, they use a very rudimentary and antique system where they ask candidates to test for basic english, typing speed, etc, that speaks about the company's culture and old school mentality. Given I was applying for a senior role, I refused to fill the entire test it was an absolute waste of time, specially since it was used even before I had a conversation with the hiring manager and see if I personally would be interested in that role.
