      Richmond, VA
      Accepted offer
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Kroger (Carrollton, GA) in Apr 2013

      Interview

An absolutely horrible interview process. There were about 20 of us in a room sitting around in a circle. Each of us were asked to describe ourselves, etc. They told four of us to come up from and he told us that we were not going to be offered a position. I should point out I was one of the few people being interviewed who had grocery experience and one of the few who is currently employed at a grocery store. I guess experience in grocery does not matter at Kroger.

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Kroger (Splendora, TX) in Feb 2012

      Interview

You must fill out an online application. However, in order to be considered as a serious prospect you must speak to the manager of the store you would like to work at. It is necessary to constantly nag the manager in order for him to remember and put your name at the top of the list. They will then call you in for an interview within a week where 4-5 questions will be asked. At that time the first interview will be over. If they like what they saw then you will be called back and at that time they will then drug test you and tell you when and where you are going to train.
