Interview
- In the phone interview with HR, I answered some basic questions such as the qualifications, why choose Kaiser, salary expectation, etc.
- After the first step, I had a one-hour video interview with actuarial team leader. He is very nice and asked me questions about some basic statistics concepts and Excel skills.
- In the video interview with team members, they asked me the same questions I had been asked before, going through again the resume.
- The video interview with actuarial manager is as above.
It was a pretty straightforward process. Meet with the hiring manager, then do a panel interview with team members. Process took awhile though. I think it took a few weeks from first interview to scheduling last one.

I had a phone call with the head actuary and then an in person interview which took all day - I met with all actuaries in the department who asked me the same questions in each meeting.
