Poor Time Management, Unprofessionalism, and a Rushed Interview Experience
The online interview was originally scheduled at a fixed time. However, about 30 minutes before it was due to start, I was informed that the management team was still in a meeting and requested a 30-minute postponement. I understood the situation and agreed to the change.
When I joined at the rescheduled time, there was still no response. I waited in front of my computer for nearly 20 minutes before being informed again that they were still in a meeting, and the interview only began after that.
During the interview, only a few questions were asked, and they were not related to the questionnaire I had completed earlier. There was also no proper introduction to the company or team structure, which gave me the impression of a rather unorganized and unprofessional process.
It also made me wonder whether the company prioritizes arranging a high volume of interviews over properly screening candidates in advance. Logically, it would make more sense to review resumes and questionnaire responses before scheduling interviews.
What confused me further was that the questionnaire had already been sent before the interview, yet I was only asked to confirm its completion when the interview was being scheduled.
