One of the best but difficult interviews I have faced is in Inogic. The company truly appreciates the knowledge and drills down in technical knowledge. Most of the companies where i have applied and have given interviews, they just ask generic theoretical questions but are least interested to know how much technically or practically you have actually worked. In Inogic, the CEO herself takes the interview and she is an Most Valued Professional (MVP) of Microsoft (saw it on display) and extremely knowledgeable. I was asked in depth about the project which i had done along with technology and she expects you to know about it and even know syntax's. Once I cracked the interview, then I put in my demand and i was offered what my expectations were. I also met a few interview candidates with longer experience during the interview process who did not know much about programming because they have been working in really low level jobs and hence were given practical tests. I was not given any practical test. The interview process takes time but if you are good software engineer and want to get into a company which values good talent, Inogic is the one of the best places to apply and build your career as I am finding out post my selection. Tough to get into but once you are inside, your career is made....
