I had an interview at Birmingham UK office a month ago. The interview was last about an hour where I have been assessed by asking number of competency based questions, where I have provided detailed information with examples. I am working in a bank under the same job role so I got a good experience, knowledge and skills towards the new assignment. During the interview I personally felt that the interviewer likes all of my answers as I was very much using the STAR technique during my whole interview. But unfortunately they declined my application and in the feedback the interviewer acknowledged that I have required skills, education, knowledge and expertise but I did not provide good enough answer to the last question so we are not taking your application further. I must say the decision was not right, I am feeling bit down and demoralised after having their feedback. It is my humble request to the management to review my application and will give me a chance to work.
