I applied in-person. I interviewed at Huntington Bank (Round Lake, IL) in Jan 2023
Interview
first you apply I did through their career website, if you're a good fit then you move up to the phone process, which is pretty easy they ask you some pretty start forward questions such as why Huntington and what you bring to the table, if all goes will then they schedule you for an in-person interview.

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Huntington Bank (Liberty, OH) in Feb 2026
Interview
The recruiter calls you for a 15-20 minutes screen, then they usually decide whether or not to move onto the second interview process. When you do go to the next interview you're usually wasting your time with a 30 minute interview and a slight job shadow to get your hopes up and then they ghost you and your application status on the portal doesnt change until an ai bot automatically rejects you and deletes your application.
Started with a phone interview by HR, followed by an in-person interview in the branch. It was not difficult, and the whole process from application to offer took about two weeks.
Just a vibe check. Making sure you’re competent and got customer service skills. Think sales when dealing with anything customer related. Depending on your location, you can see very few customers and some see customers non stop. Apply to branches not the ones inside of a jewel.
