I applied through university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at HitPoint Studios (Hatfield, MA) in May 2012
Interview
I met them at a career fair at my college, spoke for about 5 minutes as they were packing up, then saw them again at our senior show. The selected me for an interview the day after, where the three of them, and myself, hit it off rather well. Great bunch of people, very friendly. 2 weeks later I went to an onsite at the studio, I had a panel interview where I sat on a rocking chair, in a room where the other chair options were bean bags and scoop seats. I was given a QA test that I passed and then I was given a tour and met most of the people that were still there (it was when about half the office was leaving since it was after 5pm). I got to meet almost all of the management, and most of the team I'd be working with. I got to have in depth discussions about what they do without feeling like I was overstepping, I was welcomed right away, and even though I'm a new-grad, my ideas were respected, and I hadn't even been hired or offered a position yet.
