I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Hearst in Mar 2023
Interview
Interview process was straightforward. Went through an initial screening round followed by two further video calls. I was told that I was a finalist for consideration after the last round. Weeks went by, months, I followed up asking for updates and/or context in between. I got emails once or twice stating "no decision has been made, I will follow up with the team and get back to you" from the internal recruiter. No emails back, no calls, no reply to my voicemails. Very, very unprofessional and frankly disrespectful to me as a candidate whose invested time.

Question 1
Can you tell us about a strong sales win and loss in the past, how did you get there and what were the lessons learned
Several interviews including a mock pitch with several members of what would be my team and final interview with the CFO. Took several weeks to finalize the interview process. The most lengthy interview process I have ever been a part of.
Met with LSM, and then full management team. Very thorough, professional, and pleasant. Took about two weeks all in before I received a verbal offer. From there, there was a background check, then a formal offer came via email.

I had an initial phone conversation that last about 10 minutes. I was then invited to my first in person interview followed by approximately two more in person interviews with the decision makers in upper management.
