I Applied for part time position online. I was contacted the next day by a store associate to discuss my interest level and schedule an interview with the manager. I Met with store manager a few days later for an in person interview. We discussed the position and its challenges (ups and downs). The Manager made the job expectations very clear. I was offered the position at end of our conversation. A few days later, I received a formal offer via email.

Telephone interview then invitation to set appointment for interview. In store interview with the store manager in his office. Casual interview with a discussion about the job duties and how the process works. It helps if you have been a customer of Harbor Freight. If you are a customer then you know what the store is about and how the market with coupons etc and what the store has for sale.

store manager asks a few questions nothing hard mainly yes and no questions. Background check is done which takes about two weeks. He will call you after he gets the results then he will tell you to come in to start your first day.
