Anonymous Interview Candidate in Orlando, FL
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at HDR (Orlando, FL)
Hour long phone screen followed by 2-3 video interviews and then a final in-person interview. Met with a total of 7 people and it was a very lengthy, somewhat disorganized process. It shouldn't take speaking to this many employees for a hiring manager to decide whether to move forward with a candidate or not. Asked for feedback after receiving the rejection email, and was ghosted. Every single employee described the role differently - very confusing.
- How much do you charge your freelance clients? (strange question)

The interview process was smooth. The interviewers were very friendly and direct. They asked about my work, experience and I talked them through my portfolio. Heard back in 2 weeks and accepted the offer.

Nice interview process, very friendly employees, and the questions were nothing too difficult. All in all a good experience and would apply again in the future. - What is your favorite aspect of project management?

Anonymous Interview Candidate in San Diego, CA
I interviewed at HDR (San Diego, CA)
Easy interview process, two interviews were held and then an offer was given. Be sure to know the position you are applying for well, and ask questions about duties to make sure it's a good fit.
- what are projects you have worked on?

I submitted an online application. It was one 45 minute interview with two managers. They asked all behavioral questions, mostly about my experience pertaining to the role. It was very conversational and I had time to ask questions as well.
- Walk me through your resume.

Anonymous Interview Candidate in Rosemont, IL
I interviewed at HDR (Rosemont, IL)
Very easy and smooth. There were two interviewers in the room with me and went through my resume, then asked a few behavioral questions. They were very specific about the projects they were working on currently and those I would be potentially working on if I join the company.
- Why would you want to join HDR?

After sending my resume, I submitted an online recorded interview. Then I received a call to prepare for a video interview. Next steps were discussed about a couple days after.

Such a bad and meaningless interview and hiring boss was boasting about himself and talking about nothing important. Nothing technical or anything about the job duties. So, this is a bad interview.

Anonymous Employee in Tampa, FL
I interviewed at HDR (Tampa, FL)
Three total interviews. One with HR, one over the phone with hiring manager, then one in person with hiring manager and a few others. All interviews were straight forward and was just your typical interview.
- Mostly asked about my resume and what drives me to do work.

Anonymous Interview Candidate
I interviewed at HDR
They insisted on having an in-person interview and did not approve my request for an online interview. The interview process was easy, interviewers were friendly and nice. It took about 30 minutes. Questions included details on my background, education, interests, and some behavioral questions like teamwork experience.
