I took part in an exhaustive 2 month interview process that included a recorded video interview, two face to face interviews, MS Word and Excel skills tests, and a behavioral assessment. HDR was slow to follow up, if they followed up at all, each step of the process. Two weeks went by after the second face to face interview before I heard back, which was to let me know I was a final candidate and they would be making a decision in 2 days. 9 days later I received an automated rejection email. After meeting in person in their offices twice in addition to jumping through all of the other hoops presented over 2 months, I should have received a personal phone call letting me know I was not selected. In addition, I feel they misrepresented what the position was. The position advertised was listed as having several direct reports, during the first in office interview I asked about it and I was told there were no direct reports, but it could ‘grow into that’. I was told the position oversaw HR for 4 offices, including Albuquerque, however during my 2nd office interview I was introduced to someone and told that they oversee HR in Albuquerque. The entire experience felt very one sided.
