I applied online. I interviewed at Google (Palo Alto, CA)
Interview
Not Bad from my experience. it’s intense but structured, really focused on both problem-solving and how well you fit into their culture. They break it down into different rounds, starting with a phone screen, then technical coding rounds, and finally an onsite (or virtual) interview if you get that far. Each stage tests a specific skill set, whether it’s coding, system design, or soft skills

Question 1
: Google wants fluency in a programming language—Python, Java, C++, whatever you’re strong in. The interviews involve live coding, and they’re big on clean, bug-free code. No shortcuts.
• System Design: If you’re going for a senior position, expect a system design round.
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Google (Kyiv, Kyiv) in Jan 2022
Interview
1 screening, 3 cultural and leadership and 2 system design interviews. Match call in parallel of offer proposed. Cultural checks were mostly about not being a jerk. Design interview is around distributed system design and the approach to challenging problems from requirements to the implementation details
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Google (Mountain View, CA) in Jan 2023
Interview
Followed the standard 5 interview process as advertised. Everyone was kind and professional. Team match process does take a long time, and given the current climate it was tough to get an offer to do something new and exciting for me.

Question 1
The one question that stumped me was what to do if I found multiple teams were building competitive unit testing platforms.
