I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Gilead Sciences (New York, NY) in Nov 2016
Interview
Interviewed 3 times: once with internal recruiter, second was with a sales manager, and the last was traveling to NY and being interviewed by 3 difference managers. Unfortunately those that were not internal candidates were just there to fulfill the "requirements" and most of the positions went to internal candidates, even without disease state experience.

Question 1
Why did I think I was good for this particular position.
Only 1 round, quite quick process, can meet the seniors and ask questions, answer according to experience, practical questions. Welcome for any questions too during interview. Takes around 1 hour for the interview
I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Gilead Sciences (Philadelphia, PA) in Sept 2023
Interview
Went to career fair and was excited about the opportunity. Started asking strategic, long-term game plan questions. However, the recruiter there thought I was asking too many questions (more then 4) and made a comment, “feels like your interviewing us, we have a job” was the response which I thought was strange and unprofessional. If that’s how they are at a career fair, that certainly doesn’t encourage you to want to work for them.
