First, I applied online and then got a call back the following night with the HR person. We talked briefly about myself and my time availability and then he scheduled a in-person interview with the Geek Squad Manager a week from that evening. The second interview was one on one with the GS Manager and read off questions straight from a packet of papers. This interview had took only 10 minutes to complete and I was out the door. I was told I was getting a call again to set up a interview 3rd interview in a week with the general manager of Best Buy. Once the 3rd interview came around, he asked similar questions like the 2nd interview had. The following week from that 3rd interview, I received a call from the HR person saying that the process will take a little longer because they are still obligated to interview other candidates. He then stated that I will either receive a email of rejection of a phone call offer. After 3 days from that call, I received an email of rejection. The whole process took about a month. I was quite sad to find out because it seemed like a good first step into my career path; but this job's specific duties is to sell bogus warranties and software so I guess I should not be too bummed out...
