Had a pretty good recruiter call where she shared information on the company and got me excited about the mission. The HM interview kinda deflated that. He seemed a bit disengaged and not warm, and he liked to drill down on specific examples mainly involving prioritization and working with different stakeholders. I could tell he was not aligned with my responses, and when sharing on the company/role, I didn't get the same mission driven vibes that I did in the recruiter call. Also the role sounded more like putting out fires between multiple stakeholders. Whether I got a callback or not, this experience made the role less appealing.
