I applied on LinkedIn. A week later I got an email to schedule a virtual interview with the hiring manager that lasted about an hour. It went great. They seemed very interested in my previous work and asked a lot of questions. A day later I was contacted by HR to schedule to complete a conflict of interest form and to schedule another virtual interview with the legal department about any conflicts of interest as well as an onsite interview to be held the following week. The onsite interview was a full day and included a one hour research presentation on my work and several one on ones with the hiring manager, department head of the computational department, VP of chemistry and several chemists I’d be working with. After the on-site interview I was contacted within 2 days with a job offer. The whole process took about 2 weeks including the thanksgiving holiday break.
