First - I wanted to say thank you so much for your interest in Flexport. I appreciate the time you spent to come speak with us.
Second - I want to apologize. It sounds like there are a few areas we could have shown up better - our timeliness and engagement. This is good feedback for us and I've partnered with our SF Ops Leadership Team to provide this feedback.
Last - it's a great callout about compensation. We benchmark against location and industry standards to be competitive to market. That said - the Bay Area is full of companies that will optimize for winning at any cost. We don't think of our team as assets we purchase or bid on but rather partners we introduce to our business. Therefore, we pay at not above market. By treating our team as partners and business owners we can exceed expectations in the area of learning, autonomy, and challenges. I hope that helps clarify.
