I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Federal-Mogul (Athens, AL) in Apr 2014
Interview
Around two weeks after applying for the job, I heard from one of the HR Representatives via email. I was then asked to come in for an interview. I met with first the HR rep and then the HR manager. About a month later I was contacted with a job proposal.

Question 1
Tell about a time when you took on a leadership role.
Interview with HR team, meeting and interview with HR leadership, and site leader. Interview process was long. Following the initial interview it was difficult to get in touch with the team and they struggled to set up additional interviews with their leadership. This did not instill a lot of confidence that there was a strong mutual relationship between the operations and HR team. Everyone was really nice and asked great questions focused on the work environment. The challenges about working at FM were well communicated and the team was honest about the challenges someone may face as an HR rep there.

Any recent news on labor laws or union information?
I applied through other source. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Federal-Mogul in May 2018
Interview
Emails back and forth, set up a phone interview. Person interviewing clearly isn't part of the team, they are just a gate-keeper of information. Being in HR already, I am curious how the information that was gathered can be used to pick quality candidates. Also, again being in HR I may be jaded, but the interview was casual yet borderline unprofessional. I'm a normal person and things don't offend me, but the person conducting a screening probably shouldn't casually swear.
