I applied via LinkedIn and within a week a phone screen was scheduled. The phone call had a start time, but no end time, the conversation went for about 45-50 minutes. I was then given a recruitment strategy assignment to complete within five days. I was rejected two business days after submitting the assignment. The reason given was I lacked recruiting for charter schools experience. This was something that could have been determined in the phone screen stage to avoid investing time in an extensive assignment. This left a bad taste about their process. I should have picked up on red flags when the person screening me, HR Director had no idea what ATS they used. Overall, she was easy to connect with.
