I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Edelson (Chicago, IL) in Nov 2022
Interview
I sent an application to the posted email address. They wrote me a few days later asking to interview me, but when I reached out with suggested times, they never responded. Had to circle back multiple times before I finally got something on the calendar. 20 minutes before that scheduled interview, they cancelled. Finally managed to interview with them the following week. Fairly standard screener interview. About 40 minutes. Never heard back. Overall, I thought the interviewing experience was rude and unprofessional.

Question 1
What practice area interests you? Are there any cases we're working on that interest you? Why Edelson? Etc.
The interviewer asked a lot of questions about the company itself. I spent multiple days researching Edelson cases and listening to their podcast. It sort of felt like the interviewer was hoping to catch you at not knowing something about the company, which made the interview feel awkward even though I prepared thoroughly.
