I applied through university. I interviewed at Deloitte
Interview
First round on-campus interview that led to a second-round office interview. Two interviews each time (four total). Three of the four were with partners.
In my case, I qualified to attend the Deloitte National Leadership Conference (DNLC) for rising graduates looking for their first internship with a big four accounting firm. After the conference, I was put into contact with more individuals from my office of choice and was extended an offer shortly after.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
One of the partners just stared at my resume and asked me to back up everything that was on it. No previously determined questions were asked, which was different than the usual behavioral interview questions asked by the Big 4 accounting firms.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Deloitte (Taipei) in Feb 2014
Interview
Phone call interviews lead to face to face interview. Talk with future managers, meet future team mates and reviewed resumes and skills. Nothing else I can really say. It was a very formal first interview but became more casual towards the end. Not very personal, concentrates mostly on skills and past experiences.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Very traditional questions like what are your goals, strengths, weaknesses...etc
Nice sit down. Normal conversation. The person made me feel like I was going to get the second round of interview, but I didn't. Just talk about my past experiences looking at my resume. I asked questions and she answered. It was a back and forth conversational interview. The interviewer was impressed with my work experience and resume, but they are specifically looking for people with background in accounting. That gave away that I won't go ahead to the second round of interview.
