Lengthy, it felt like they didn’t know what they were looking for in a candidate, which was a red flag the business may have a tendency to operate the same way. Questions seemed to bait, I felt a couple were unethical. Not a way to draw top talent.
I applied online. I interviewed at Daniels Health (Toronto, ON) in Nov 2025
Interview
Interview process was long, the initial interview and “competency testing” they sent was done over a day, I was told after the initial interview that I’d be moving on to the next round and that I needed to do that testing prior to meeting with the next person.
When I did the competency test, it was timed and required a lot of mental focus, I’m a person with a disability and feared I didn’t do well as I require additional time for tests like that. I emailed the recruiter following the test and told them I was very symptomatic and I’d like another chance with extra time to do the test. He responded that I did really well and they’d get back to me soon.
That was in November. I just got an email saying that they decided not to move forward with my application (it’s January).
In my experience, they’re ableist and unorganized.
