I was asked about my experience working with other students, normal interview questions. Then, oddly, I was warned about a problematic teacher who seemed to bully management and other staff... Even more oddly, I was warned in a (thinly veiled) racist manner about low-income family's and their children.

It's was pretty easy. I interviewed in Huntsville al. She asked me basic question... why do I want to teach, how would I handle certain situations, how do I handle concerned parents, my form of discipline.

During the interview I filled out the application and had a verbal talk with the director about the job. After looking over my application, I was asked questions about my experience with children. We went over the handbook and made sure everything was correct on my application.

Simple. All they ask is if you have any preference on an age group and if you have any previous experience. The center I applied for was so understaffed that I got the job immediately.
