I applied through university. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Chewy in Sept 2017
Interview
Talked to them at the career fair at my university. They contacted me within 2 days to set up a phone screen. Phone screen was pretty easy and the recruiter was very nice. After phone screen there is a Skype call and then onsite interview.

Question 1
What is one example of a moment when you used creative thinking to solve a problem?
I applied through university. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Chewy (New York, NY)
Interview
First round was a phone screen with the hiring personnel. Nothing too difficult. I felt like the main point of this was to get a sense of my personality and work ethic, to see if I was the type of person who fit in with their culture and fast-paced environment.
Second round was at their office in Fort Lauderdale. The lobby of the building is really cool and the although the office is only on one floor, it's rapidly expanding, which was nice to see. We got a tour of everything, sat into a few customer service calls (since this is what Chewy is famous for) and got a good sense of how they do things in the office, and the culture. Then, I had a 3-1 interview with some upper level management. It was intimidating at first, but they were all really nice. They asked me typical resume questions, again, just to see if you have the right personality for the company. One thing I really appreciated was that they were very frank about the type of person they were looking for and the work-life balance at the company, stressing that you need to be willing to grind in order to do well. It was also a very natural type of interview. The questions seemed to rise organically based on how our conversation flowed, rather than a standard set that they wanted to ask.
Overall, definitely one of the most positive interview experiences I've had. I got along well with the other interviewees I met and we went around the town to explore after the interview which was really fun. The hotel was nice and Chewy even left us gifts at the front desk for us. At the end of the day, we had a dinner with some Chewy employees, HR and all the interviewees of that day. It was really great getting to talk to them. They had fun, strong personalities that I appreciated.

Question 1
If you had to start work in customer service, but I guaranteed you that in 5 years, you could rise to be in an upper level management position, what would you do?
I applied through university. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Chewy (Fort Lauderdale, FL) in Oct 2016
Interview
I met the recruiters at my school's career fair. They were super-friendly and asked me a few questions about my resume. I received a phone interview a few days after with one of the recruiters I met. A little while after that I received an interview at their headquarters. They flew everyone out for the interviews which was great! I was given a tour with a few other interviewees and then I did my interview. It was a panel interview with three people interviewing me. After the interview we went to dinner and got to know the recruiters more. It was a great experience and after the day of events I knew this was the place I'd love to work!
