I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at ChemPoint (Bellevue, WA) in Sept 2010
Interview
The interview process was lengthy to say the least. It consisted first of an initial screening interview with one of Chempoint's in-house staffing specialists. Two weeks later I had a phone interview with an executive. This interview was rescheduled twice before I could actually speak with someone. Both of these interviews seemed to go well and I was invited to an in-person interview. This consisted of interviews with two groups of two, followed by a job shadow, some HR paperwork, and a final interview with two more people. Time management is obviously an issue at Chempoint as they scheduled three hours for the process and couldn't get to the interview. The office was beautiful and in a great location but the position itself was somewhat mindless and the staff had a bit of a cult mentality,
Interview process is much less about experience and more about personality. Show up prepared to learn and focused and positive with good energy. The interviewers are nice and just want to hear you speak and explain things.
