I applied through my university recruiting site. A recruiter from the company reached out to me a few days later. First, I had a brief phone interview with the recruiter, and she asked me to fill out an application via e-mail, and complete a technical test. After that, she asked when I would be available for an in-person interview. I explained that I am currently employed, but would have 4 days off the following week, so that would work best for me. They were completely unable to accommodate this, saying that none of the FOUR DAYS I had off would "work for the team," even though I gave plenty of notice on this. She suggested the week after next, which I did not have off. I followed up later, and received no response whatsoever.
In the weeks before, the recruiter consistently called me throughout the workday, even though I explained multiple times that e-mail would be better during my work hours, since my employers do not know that I am looking for a new job. Additionally, she INSISTED that I do a Skype interview during work hours, even though I explained this would not be possible given my situation. I had to download Skype on my phone, pay for a subscription, and camp out in my car just to have her go over something she could have easily explained over an e-mail. She even tried to negotiate a lesser salary for me BEFORE I even had an in-person interview!
Would not recommend wasting your time with this company. Clearly, they don't value your time in the slightest, so nothing makes me think that working here would be a good experience. I didn't hear back from them at all, they just seized contact.
