I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at CapTech in Jul 2023
Interview
CapTech reached out to me on LinkedIn. Spoke with a recruiter, by phone, who explained about the company's history and background in detail. Passed this first phone screen. Was told a 30-minute tech screen by phone would be next. Recruiter said it would be more of a "conversation" rather than a "gotcha" test, but it was indeed a quiz. Was told that "personality" was the top thing the organization was looking for, but was declined based on my technicals. I will compliment CapTech on a reasonably fast-moving process with an up-or-down vote at the end.

Question 1
What are your thoughts on single-activity architecture? If a junior developer comes to you and asks why view models are needed, what would you tell them? What's your experience with coroutines? What's the role of an interceptor with Retrofit? What's your unit test strategy? Have you ever worked with instrumentation testing? What language is Gradle written in? What alternatives are there to LiveData?
