Included a Phone Screen with a HR Recruiter followed up with a Skills Interview with a Manager. I found the process to be unflattering of a company of Captech’s reputation. The Skills Interviewer-- who was friendly enough-- went incommunicado -- after promising to review and comment on work samples from project experience that we discussed in our interview. While the conversation was not smooth, it was not unfriendly, with no reason for me to believe that she would completely flake out on a commitment she made. Very inept of her. I attempted to ascertain status of the additional review and of my candidacy with the recruiter, who was completely MIA. My application status 2 months after I last heard from him still showed as “in-progress.” All in all, I would believe that I dodged a bullet, in context of the unprofessional nature of the recruiting process.
