      Average interview

      Application

      I interviewed at CPS Energy

      Interview

It had 14 main questions for interview round one on a video call, with normal interview questions about management and work situations. The second interview was a tour and meeting in person with the line manager.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

They asked what was a difficult situation that you had maneuvered at work.
      Answer question
      No offer
      Negative experience

      Application

The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at CPS Energy (New York, NY)

      Interview

The good: CPS Energy is a great company and does a lot to support the community. The interviewers were on time and respectful. The bad: The interview process is painfully slow. From application to first virtual meeting to in-person second interview took over two months. It was difficult to gauge how the interviewers responded to my answers. They kept negatively asserting that CPS is a very bureaucratic place to work, which I knew going in.

      Question 1

How were you able to overcome an unexpected obstacle at work?

I applied in-person. The process took 6 months. I interviewed at CPS Energy

      Interview

Pay close attention to this. HR will NOT provide you with a benefits list. That is because their benefits suck (compared to other engineering companies). They give you 2 weeks of vacation for the first 7 years, and actually they won't even give you a day for the first 6 months (which you are actually on probation). I pay more for health insurance than my previous company, which I would've known had I been given this list. Make sure you demand information whenever you interview with these scammers.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

The interview process is fairly easy, given that they really only target mediocre people.
