Applied online and got a phone screening in which they confirmed my resume. Then, I was scheduled for an interview. In the phone screening they ask you to describe your past experiences and ask how all of it relates to the position you are applying to.
- Are you planning on taking the EIT?

Quick on the phone interview, followed by a in person interview. Very laid back. Questions about my ambitions and experience from other internships. Hiring process was difficult because HR department was slow to process my information. Filing my paperwork took too long.

I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at CH2M in May 2016
Very straight forward phone interview with my eventual supervisor. Asked questions about my experience and interests. No tricky questions or anything out of the ordinary. Allowed plenty of time for me to ask questions as well. After the interview, the company found a spot in the company that matched my interests and created an intern position for me.
- Why did you choose CH2M?

Very friendly and welcoming. Was a 1-1 interview. Talked mostly about what I would be doing. And then went over my resume. Then we walked around the office and met other employees.

I met with ch2m reps at a career fair, they are very friendly and tend to be talkative about the company. Talked about their operations and asked me what my interests were. As always, gpa and apply online is the name of the game here, unless you are able to make the b interview more interesting
- There was a definite emphasis on waste water treatment. If this is your area be sure to bring it up.

Anonymous Interview Candidate in London, England
I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at CH2M (London, England) in Jun 2015
15-minute test about geotechnical engineering followed by an interview with 2 employers. It was pretty laid back. Most of the questions were about my subjects at uni and my past work experience. They did ask what my most and least favorite subjects, my skill level in AutoCAD, BIM software and some questions to show my leadership.
- If I did not offer you a place, what would you do?

Anonymous Interview Candidate
I applied online. I interviewed at CH2M in May 2015
The telephone interview was fairly standard without any surprise questions. They called on time and explained the process clearly. At times I had to pause my answer to allow him to type notes. Talking slowly was quite beneficial to avoid this. He described the intern positions which were available and I was asked to rank them, 1, 2 and 3, with a short reason why. I was told that I'd hear back in 4 weeks and that the next stage was a competence test and technical presentation.
- They asked a reasonable amount about subjects I liked in uni and projects I had done.

Phone interview, basic behavior questions, why do you want to work here, what are your favorite classes and why, tell me something about yourself I wouldn't know from just looking at your resume
- What's a challenge that you had to overcome
