Shockingly bad, interviewer was reading off a script and didn't seem to understand the questions they were even asking. You could see their face change when I said particular keywords. They didn't want actual story examples, just looking for words that relate to job.

Question 1
Tell us about a time you faced a difficult situation etc etc. same questions like anywhere else.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Braze (Jakarta) in Jan 2022
Interview
Structured and detailed interview questions with use-cases presentation in final step. Another interviewer focused on behavioral questions. They asked about a time I had to deal with a difficult team member
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Braze (Chicago, IL) in Mar 2021
Interview
The interview process was pretty thorough, but nothing too difficult. I had an initial phone screen with the recruiter, a 30 minute video call with the hiring manager, another 30 minute call with an AE manager, a role play exercise with the hiring manager, and then spoke to the VP of commercial sales and the VP of US Sales. Although I had to meet with a lot of people, all of the interviews were very conversational and they really just want to get to know you. I would say the most challenging part was the role play because I had to present as I would for a renewal call, but it went very smoothly and the hiring manager didn't throw any curveball questions. I just ran it like an introductory/discovery call and asked lots of questions. All in all the process was straightforward, it just took a bit longer than other interviews I've had

Why AM?
Walk me through your day to day of your current role.
What is your biggest strength and how would it help you in the AM role?
I closed all of my interviews asking if they had any hesitations about me that I could clear up and they were very receptive to this.
