I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Bell Fork Lift (Birch Run, MI) in Jan 2021
Interview
Found the position posting on Indeed. Sent resume and application when I applied. Got an initial contact I would say with in the week. We discussed experience and reason for applying, compensation and general expectations of duties. The contact was with the Service Manager I would fall under. Then a more involved interview took place later on. The owner, indirect managers that I would be dealing with and the service manager again, total of 4 people were engaged in the conversation. It was rather hip pocket as there was no formal order to who had the spotlight to interview and what exactly was discussed. I believe the conversation started off as a short introduction of myself to get a character background feel then it turned to how my personality helps or hinders my current role or the one applying for. Some of my experience was brought up and surprisingly enough the team actually read my resume and brought the experience references into the conversation. That isn't a common to have a hiring team already review you prior to the interview.
