      Account Executive Interview

      Application

      Interview

Recruiter called me out of the blue without setting up a time to chat. Since I was at work, I said I couldn't speak openly at the moment. The recruiter continued to ask me questions until I was forced to abruptly end the call. Then, the recruiter insisted that I complete a HireVue before they could share *any* info on compensation, management structure, team culture, etc. This is easily the most unprofessional and inconsiderate hiring group I've come across. I declined to continue interviewing because of their poor approach to candidates.

      Question 1

Requested to complete HireVue video interview first

Hi there! Thank you for taking the time to consider BambooHR. We’re sorry to hear that we caught you at an inconvenient time. Very often in hiring, we just try to have a quick call and explain what we can about the process, but we certainly don’t want to put anyone in a bad spot with their current workplace. This is actually an effort to try and speed things along as we can, and better orient applicants on the process, but we certainly understand when/if someone can’t take the time to talk at that moment. In order to ensure that the process is fair for all candidates, we try our best to maintain consistency. For this particular role, typically the first step in the interview process is a video interview which would have been emailed to you prior to the call. If a candidate hasn’t completed the video interview, or responded to our previous attempts to contact via email, we’ll give them a call just to make sure they received it and/or that their email address is correct on our end. Though if they can’t talk at that time, we’re always willing to schedule another time. We are definitely happy to answer questions about particular positions, and we’re sorry that in our hope to create a consistent process, we may have missed that opportunity. As per our value of “grow from good to great” we’re always trying to improve, so we’d like to say thanks again for taking the time to help us do that. If you have any additional feedback you’d like to share, feel free to do so here: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdmHsvbC7psJmjBgW6Gj7qC2qNZpR3yisM3F1qy6Ieaf7y47g/viewform We wish you the best of luck in your career.

      Interview

Interview process was structured, open and skill focused. They didn't add any fluff. They kept it straightforward with 3 total interviews (Recruiter call, 1 Hr call with a sales manager with time to do a mock discovery call, and a final sales manager call).

      Interview

Do not apply here!! Imagine an HR software company that forgot the "human" The final interview with the director was a waste of time. Imagine your interviewer is hostile from the start. Throughout my tenured career I haven't interviewed with the level of a-hole as I'd experienced in this interview. Because I didn't have a 14 year history with the same company like he did, he decided to "try" and shred my career into pieces as unsuccessful. Because my tenure at one company was only 6 years and 4 years at another. What a sick joke... just don't waste your time!

      Question 1

If you are so great why haven't you landed a job in the few months you've been out of work? (talk about out of touch with reality)

2-3 interviews done virtually. Spoke with recruiter once and the person I would working under. Wasn’t able to get an offer because they were afraid I wouldn’t make enough with them and would need to supplement with d2d on the side.
